Please Take Your Bets

This week I started a germination tray for spinach and basil. This afternoon I'm starting one for lettuce.

I think I'm going to need more than one large garden container for veggies this year. What are the odds that you think I can find at least 5 for less than $15 each?

I guess it's off to Ikea this weekend to see what some of my options are! Any other ideas for where I can find large garden pots that aren't too expensive?

I'm not opposed to making my own but I don't have a saw. I do have an orbital sander though. HA.

Good luck with the veggies!

Have you tried craigslist, freecycle or thinking beyond just pots? I've used old colanders and funky trash cans that I drilled holes into. Here are some other ideas. http://www.thekitchn.com/thekitchn/green-ideas/garden-solutions-cheap-and-creative-planters-for-tomatoes-strawberries-and-beans-053615.

If you can't find something cheap, Home Depot cuts lumber.
