Book Review: The Girl Who Played With Fire

The Girl Who Played With Fire was an awesome, awesome book. You actually find out what "All The Evil" is (not from Lisbeth's perspective) and the the government conspiracy that's part of the plot is pretty good too. Again, slow to start like the first one, but once you get through the background information and the murders take place, the book reels you in and you just can't put it down.

There's twists and turns that you don't see coming (but at some point I sort of turned off the part in my brain that wanted to solve the mystery) and then others you knew from the very beginning. I'd like very much to add spoilers, but I just can't ruin the book for those that haven't read it - I wish there were more but unfortunately Stieg Larsson passed away before more could be published. All in all, fantastic beach read. I sort of put this down after the first few hundred pages because I knew that I had to get through background information and sex trade information and I just didn't have the time that I needed to commit to reading this book.

And, surprise... I will be reading the next book, The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest!
